School meals

The Rise School meals

The Rise School is working in partnership with Relish to provide fresh high quality meals for pupils at lunchtime.

The menu works on a three-week rotating cycle and pupils can choose their lunch option on a daily basis. Meals cost £2.40 per day. Payments can be made on the Arbor Parent Portal App.

Download this term’s school meal menu to see the options available. Please note, menu changes are possible due to demand from suppliers, however we hope to keep to the menu as much as possible.

Free school meals

Parents and carers with low incomes may be entitled to apply for Free School Meals.

Each application must be made to your local authority, who will process the application and make the decision. They will inform The Rise School if the application has been successful and for how long pupils will be entitled to receive Free School Meals.

Packed Lunches

Children also have the option of bringing a packed lunch to school. We ask parents to send healthy lunches every day and do not allow fizzy drinks, energy drinks or sweets. We are also a nut-free school due to several children having a severe allergic reaction to nuts. Please note this also includes peanut butter, which must not be sent into school. Please note that if your child brings in packed lunches from home, and these contain food that needs to be reheated, we do not have the facilities to be able to heat food up for children.
